Fast during Sha’ban; Increase acts of worship such as praying more often; Take advantage of blessings from God; Show devotion towards God; Gain rewards from Him

The hadith narrated by Usamah bin Zaid speaks about the importance of fasting during the month of Shaban. This is a special month that falls between Rajab and Ramadan and is often overlooked by many people. However, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was very keen on fasting during this period as he believed that his deeds would be taken up to the Lord of the Worlds at this time.
