EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Yazid ibn Salama states that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised a man to announce the day of Ashura. This is an important Islamic holiday which marks the anniversary of Moses' victory over Pharaoh in Egypt. On this day, Muslims are encouraged to fast as an act of worship and remembrance. Those who have already eaten should refrain from eating for the rest of that day, while those who have not yet eaten should fast until sunset. This hadith serves as a reminder for Muslims to observe fasting on this special occasion and remember Allah's blessings upon them.
