EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Jabir bin Abdullah states that it is not necessary to fast while travelling. This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful of our physical and mental health when travelling, and fasting may be too strenuous for some people. We should take into consideration the difficulty of the journey, as well as our own physical and mental state before deciding whether or not to fast during a journey. This hadith also teaches us that we should be considerate of others who are travelling with us, and make sure they have enough shade from the sun or other elements if needed. Furthermore, this hadith reminds us that righteousness does not always mean following religious rules strictly; sometimes it means being kind and understanding towards ourselves and others in order to maintain good health.
