Fast during Sha'ban and throughout all of Ramadan; make sure to fast on Mondays and Thursdays every week .

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by 'Aishah tells us that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was very devoted to fasting. He would fast during the month of Sha'ban, which is a month before Ramadan, as well as throughout the entire month of Ramadan. Additionally, he would make sure to fast on Mondays and Thursdays every week. This shows us how important fasting was for him in his life; it was something that he did regularly in order to draw closer to Allah SWT. By following his example, we can also strive for spiritual growth through fasting regularly ourselves.
