QUICK LESSONS:
Fast during the month of Shaban

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Aishah tells us that the Prophet Muhammad used to fast during the month of Shaban. This is a reminder for us to follow in his footsteps and also take part in fasting during this month. It is important for us to remember that fasting is not only about abstaining from food and drink, but it is also about having self-control and discipline over our actions, thoughts, and words. We should strive to be mindful of our behaviour throughout the day while we are fasting so that we can reap its full benefits. Additionally, it teaches us patience as well as gratitude for all that Allah has blessed us with.

Fasting during Shaban helps strengthen our faith and connection with Allah as we strive to become closer to Him through prayer and worship. It also serves as a reminder of how much Allah loves His creation, which encourages us to show love towards others too. Furthermore, it teaches us humility by reminding us that no matter how much wealth or power one may have, they are still dependent on Allah’s mercy for sustenance and guidance in life’s journey.
