EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Abu Hurairah, speaks about the importance of eating sahur or pre-dawn meal during Ramadan. According to the Prophet Muhammad, taking sahur is a blessing and it should not be neglected. Eating sahur helps us to stay energized throughout the day and also helps us to fast with ease as we have enough energy for our daily activities. It also teaches us discipline and self control as we are able to resist food cravings during fasting hours due to having eaten before dawn. Furthermore, it encourages us to wake up early in order for us to take advantage of this blessed time before sunrise when Allah's mercy descends upon His servants who are awake at that time.
