QUICK LESSONS:
Be mindful and aware of your religious obligations even if you cannot physically observe them due to certain circumstances such as bad weather or other factors beyond your control .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of fasting during the month of Ramadan. It was narrated by Abdullah bin 'Umar, who heard it from the Prophet Muhammad. According to this hadith, when you see the crescent in the sky, then you should start fasting for that month. When you see it again at the end of that month, then you should stop fasting and celebrate Eid al-Fitr. If it is too cloudy or obscured from view, then one should work out thirty days from when they first saw it in order to complete their fast for that month. This teaches us that we must be mindful and aware of our religious obligations even if we cannot physically observe them due to certain circumstances such as bad weather or other factors beyond our control.
