QUICK LESSONS:
Helping Others; Showing Kindness; Being Generous; Being Thankful; Providing Water For Pilgrims During The Nights Of Mina

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ allowed people who provided water for pilgrims during the nights of Mina to stay in Mecca. This is an example of how generous and kind he was towards those who helped others. He showed that it is important to help others and be kind even if it requires some sacrifice on our part. He also taught us that we should be thankful for those who help us and show them kindness in return.

The nights of Mina are a time when Muslims from all over the world come together to perform Hajj or pilgrimage at Makkah. During this time, there is a great need for water as many people come together from different places and need hydration due to the hot weather conditions. Thus, providing water becomes an important task which needs attention and care from everyone present there so that no one suffers due to lack of access to clean drinking water. In order recognize their efforts and show appreciation for their hard work, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ allowed these people who provided water with permission to stay at Makkah during these nights instead of having them leave after they had done their job as was customary before his time.
