The Blessings of Ramadan

SUMMARY: Ramadan is a blessed month in which Allah has opened the gates of Heaven and closed the gates of Hell, and every devil is chained up. Allah has a night in this month that is better than a thousand months.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'There has come to you Ramadan, a blessed month, which Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has enjoined you to fast. In it the gates of heavens are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and every devil is chained up. In it Allah has a night which is better than a thousand months; whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived"'.

QUICK LESSONS:
Do good deeds & worship God during Ramadan .

EXPLANATIONS:
Ramadan is an important month for Muslims as it was ordained by Allah. During this month, the gates of Heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, meaning that people have more opportunities to do good deeds and be rewarded for them. Additionally, all devils are chained up so they cannot tempt people into doing bad deeds. Furthermore, there is one night during this month that is better than a thousand months; whoever misses out on its goodness will miss out on many blessings from Allah. Therefore, it's important to make use of this special time by doing good deeds and worshipping Allah as much as possible.
