Burial Instructions for Battle of Uhud

SUMMARY: The Prophet (PBUH) instructed to bury those who were killed in the battle of Uhud according to their knowledge of the Quran.

It was narrated that Hisham bin 'Amir said: "My father was killed on the day of Uhud, and the Prophet said: 'Dig graves and make them good and wide, and bury two or three in a grave, and put in first the one who knew the Qur'an most'. My father was the third of three, and the one who knew the Qur'an most was placed (in the grave) first".

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) instructed to dig graves and make them wide enough for two or three people. He also said that those who knew the Quran should be placed first in the grave. This hadith teaches us about respecting those who have knowledge and understanding about Islam, especially when it comes to burying them after death. It also shows us how important it is to learn and understand the Quran as much as possible so we can be respected even after our death.
