Attend funerals and offer prayers for fellow Muslims seeking rewards from Allah SWT .

The hadith of Abu Hurairah teaches us about the importance of attending funerals and offering prayers for the deceased. It is narrated that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that whoever follows a Muslim man's funeral, seeking reward, and offers prayer before burying him will receive two Qirats as reward. A Qirat is an immense amount of reward from Allah SWT. Furthermore, if someone offers the funeral prayer then goes back before burial but returns to bury him, he will still receive one Qirat as reward. This hadith encourages us to attend funerals and offer prayers for our fellow Muslims in order to gain rewards from Allah SWT in return.
