Finishing Ihram After Performing 'Umra

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) explaining why he did not finish his Ihram after performing 'Umra.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Hafsa said, "O Allah's Messenger ! What is wrong with the people; they finished their Ihram after performing 'Umra, but you have not finished it after your 'Umra?" He replied, "I matted my hair and have garlanded my Hadi. So, I cannot finish my Ihram till I slaughter (my Hadi)".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's explanation of why he did not finish his Iḥrām after performing an 'Umrah. He said that he had matted his hair and garlanded his Ḥady, so he could not finish his Iḥrām until he slaughtered it. This teaches us that when we perform an act of worship, such as Hajj or Umrah, we must complete all its rituals in order for it to be accepted by Allah SWT. We should also strive to fulfill our obligations and commitments in life with sincerity and dedication, as this will bring us closer to Allah SWT and His blessings.
