Seeking Reward for Loss of Children

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that those who seek reward for the loss of their children will enter Paradise.

It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever seeks reward for (the loss of) three of his own children, he will enter Paradise". A woman stood up and said: "Or two?" He said: "Or two". The woman said: "I wish that I had said, 'or one"'.
