The Last Moment of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) drew back the curtain when the people were in rows behind Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him. Abu Bakr wanted to step back, but he gestured to them to stay as they were and let the curtain drop.

It was narrated that Anas said: "The last time I saw the Messenger of Allah, he drew back the curtain when the people were in rows behind Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him. Abu Bakr wanted to step back, but he gestured to them to stay as they were, and let the curtain drop. He died at the end of that day, and that was a Monday".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates a moment from the last day of Prophet Muhammad's life. He was surrounded by his companions and drew back a curtain while they were in rows behind Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him. Abu Bakr wanted to step back but was gestured by the prophet not to do so and let the curtain drop. This hadith teaches us that even in his last moments, Prophet Muhammad was concerned about others before himself and showed great respect for his companion Abu Bakr. It also shows us how important it is for us as Muslims to show respect towards each other regardless of our differences or positions in society. We should always strive to put others before ourselves and treat everyone with kindness and respect just like our beloved prophet did during his lifetime.
