Death of the Believer

SUMMARY: The believer dies with a sense of accomplishment and effort.

It was narrated from (Ibn Buraidah) that his father said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The believer dies with sweat on his forehead"'.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا كَهْمَسٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ الْمُؤْمِنُ يَمُوتُ بِعَرَقِ الْجَبِينِ

This hadith speaks to the idea that believers should strive to live their lives in such a way that when they die, they do so with a sense of accomplishment and effort. It is said that the Prophet Muhammad said “The believer dies with sweat on his forehead” which implies that believers should work hard and strive for excellence in all aspects of life. This hadith encourages us to be productive members of society who are constantly striving for betterment and growth. It also serves as an important reminder that death is inevitable and we must make sure we are living our lives in accordance with Islamic teachings so we can die peacefully knowing we have done our best.
