The Reward of Praying Twelve Rak'ahs

SUMMARY: Praying twelve rak'ahs a day will result in a house being built for the person in Paradise.

It was narrated that Umm Habibah said: "Whoever prays twelve rak'ahs in a day, a house will be built for him in Paradise".
أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، قَالَتْ مَنْ صَلَّى فِي يَوْمٍ اثْنَتَىْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us that if we pray twelve rak’ahs each day, Allah will reward us with a house in paradise. A rak’ah is an Islamic prayer unit which consists of standing up straight and reciting certain verses from the Quran while bowing and prostrating. By praying twelve rak’ahs every day, we are showing our devotion to Allah and He will reward us for it by giving us a house in paradise. This hadith encourages Muslims to be devoted to their faith and practice it regularly as they can receive great rewards from Allah if they do so.
