The Reward of Praying Twelve Rak'ahs

SUMMARY: Praying twelve rak'ahs a day and night will result in Allah (SWT) building a house in Paradise for the person.

It was narrated from Umm Habibah that: The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever prays twelve rak'ahs a day and night, Allah (SWT) will build for him a house in Paradise".
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَنْ صَلَّى ثِنْتَىْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً فِي يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the reward of praying twelve rak’ahs a day and night. A rak’ah is an Islamic prayer unit that consists of standing, bowing, prostrating and sitting. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that whoever prays twelve rak’ahs every day and night will be rewarded with Allah SWT building them a house in paradise. This means that if someone performs this prayer regularly they will be rewarded with something special from Allah SWT. It teaches us to have faith in Allah SWT and to perform our prayers regularly as it can lead to great rewards from Him.
