EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was known for his devotion to prayer and worship of Allah. He would often pray two rak’ahs in the morning when dawn glowed. A rak’ah is a unit of prayer that consists of standing, bowing, prostrating and sitting in between each cycle. This hadith teaches us the importance of dedicating time to supplicate to Allah in the morning and throughout our day. It also shows us how devoted the Prophet was to his faith and how we should strive to emulate him in our own lives by making sure we take time out for prayer every day.
