QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for balance in life and be mindful of your capabilities when it comes to fulfilling religious duties .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that moderation is important in all aspects of life, including prayer. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was an example of this by reducing his night prayer from nine rak’ahs to seven as he aged and gained weight. This shows us that we should not overburden ourselves with religious obligations if we are unable to do so due to physical limitations or other reasons. We should strive for balance in our lives and be mindful of our capabilities when it comes to fulfilling religious duties.
