The hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of reciting certain verses from the Quran during his witr prayer. He would recite "Glorify the Name of Your Lord, the Most High" in one rak'ah, "Say O you disbelievers!" in another rak'ah, and "Say He is Allah, One" in a third rak'ah. After completing these recitations he would say taslim and then say Subhanal-Malikil-Quddus three times. This hadith teaches us that we should take time to glorify Allah's name during our prayers as well as remember that He is one and only God who should be worshipped by all believers.
