This hadith is about combining the rituals of Hajj and Umrah. It was narrated by Nafi' that Abdullah bin Umar said to his father that he should stay in Mecca as there was a conflict between Ibn Zubair and Al-Hajja. He then declared that he would do what Allah's Messenger did, citing the verse from the Quran which states "Verily, in Allah's Messenger you have a good example". He then assumed Ihram for both Umrah and Hajj at Al-Baida', bringing a Hadi from Qudaid. Upon arriving at Mecca, he performed Tawaf once for both rituals without finishing his Ihram until after completing them both.
