The Power of Prayer in Ramadan

SUMMARY: Praying Qiyam during Ramadan with faith and hope of reward will lead to forgiveness of previous sins.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that: The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever prays Qiyam during Ramadan out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins".
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَنْ قَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the power of prayer during the holy month of Ramadan. It is narrated by Abu Hurairah that Prophet Muhammad said that whoever prays Qiyam during this month out of faith and in the hope for reward, their previous sins will be forgiven. This hadith emphasizes on the importance and power of prayer, especially during this blessed month.
