Praying with an Anizah on Eid

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to take out a short spear on the day of Eid and pray facing towards it.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that: The Messenger of Allah used to take out an Anizah (a short spear) on the day of Al-Fitr and the day of Al-Adha, plant it in the ground, and pray facing toward it.
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَانَ يُخْرِجُ الْعَنَزَةَ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَيَوْمَ الأَضْحَى يُرْكِزُهَا فَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ibn 'Umar states that the Prophet Muhammad used to take out a short spear called an Anizah on the days of Al-Fitr and Al-Adha, plant it in the ground, and pray facing towards it. This is a reminder for us to remember Allah during special occasions such as Eid. It also teaches us that we should be mindful of our prayers even when we are celebrating happy occasions. We should not forget about Allah's presence in our lives even when we are rejoicing in joyous moments. Additionally, this hadith shows us how important prayer is for Muslims; no matter what situation or occasion they find themselves in, they must always remember to pray and thank Allah for His blessings.
