Praying with Praise

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed four times, bowing and reciting loudly each time, and after raising his head he said "Sami Allahu liman hamidah. Rabbana wa lakal-hamd" (Allah hears those who praise Him, Our Lord to You be praise).

It was narrated from Aishah that: The Messenger of Allah prayed, bowing four times, and he recited loudly, and every time he raised his head he said: "Sami Allahu liman hamidah. Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (Allah hears those who praise Him, Our Lord to You be praise)".

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray regularly with sincerity & focus on what you are saying during prayer

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Aishah tells us about the importance of prayer in Islam. It is reported that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed four times while bowing and reciting loudly each time. After raising his head from bowing he would say “Sami Allahu liman hamidah. Rabbana wa lakal-hamd” which translates to “Allah hears those who praise Him, Our Lord to You be praise”. This phrase is a reminder for us to always remember Allah in our prayers and show gratitude for His blessings upon us. We should also strive to recite our prayers loud enough so that we can hear ourselves as this will help us focus on what we are saying during prayer instead of just going through the motions without any thought or feeling behind it. By doing this we can ensure that our prayers are sincere and meaningful which will bring more reward from Allah SWT.
