QUICK LESSONS:
Join the weekly congregational prayers if you are able to do so.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us about the importance of joining the Friday prayer, also known as Jumu’ah. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that whoever is able to join this special congregational prayer should do so. A rak’ah is a unit of Islamic prayer and in this hadith, it refers to one unit of the Friday prayer which consists of two rak’ahs. Therefore, if someone joins even one rak’ah of this special congregational prayer, they have caught up with it and fulfilled their obligation as a Muslim. This hadith encourages us to make an effort to attend our weekly congregational prayers and benefit from its blessings.
