Attending Friday Prayer for Expiation

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that if a person purifies themselves and attends the Friday prayer attentively, it will be an expiation for their sins from the week before.

It was narrated that Salman said: "The Messenger of Allah said to me: 'There is no man who purifies himself on Friday as he is commanded, then comes out of his house to the Friday prayer, and listens attentively until he finishes his prayer, but it will be an expiation for what came before it the week before".

QUICK LESSONS:
Purify oneself before attending Friday prayers; listen attentively during prayers; take advantage of this opportunity every week; obey Allah SWT's commands .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that if we purify ourselves and attend the Friday prayer attentively, it will be an expiation for our sins from the week before. This means that by attending this prayer, we can make up for any wrongdoings or mistakes we have made in the past week. It is important to note that this only applies if one has purified themselves beforehand and listens attentively during the prayer. We should also remember to take advantage of this opportunity every week as it is a great way to seek forgiveness from Allah SWT.
