This hadith is about the importance of prayer, specifically the Friday prayer or Jumu’ah. It was narrated by Iyas bin Salamah bin Al-Akwa’ that his father said they used to pray with the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ on Fridays and then go back home without seeking shade from the walls. This shows us how important it was for them to attend this prayer, as they were willing to endure any hardship in order to do so. It also teaches us that we should prioritize our religious obligations over our comfort, even if it means going out of our way or enduring some difficulty in order to fulfill them.
