Performing gusul before attending prayer services on Fridays; washing oneself; coming early; walking instead of riding; sitting close to the Imam; listening attentively without engaging in idle speech or conversation .

This hadith encourages Muslims to attend Friday prayers at their local mosque. It is important for them to perform Ghusl beforehand and wash themselves as well as walking instead of riding when going there. Once they arrive at the mosque they should sit close to the Imam and listen attentively without engaging in idle speech or conversation. For every step taken towards this goal, one will be rewarded with a year's worth of good deeds from Allah SWT which is an immense reward for such a small effort!
