Fasting on the Day of 'Arafat

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) was fasting on the Day of 'Arafat and Um Al-Fadl sent him something to drink.

Narrated Um Al-Fadl: The people doubted whether the Prophet was observing the fast on the Day of 'Arafat, so I sent something for him to drink and he drank it.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمٌ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَيْرًا، مَوْلَى أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ، شَكَّ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ فِي صَوْمِ النَّبِيِّ فَبَعَثْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ بِشَرَابٍ فَشَرِبَهُ‏.‏
