Supplicating with One Finger

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad advised a man to use one finger instead of two when making supplications.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that: A man used to supplicate with two fingers and the Messenger of Allah said: "Make it one, make it one".
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، كَانَ يَدْعُو بِأُصْبُعَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ أَحِّدْ أَحِّدْ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of supplication in Islam. It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that a man used to make supplications with two fingers and the Prophet Muhammad advised him to make it one. This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful and sincere when making our prayers and supplications, as Allah will only accept them if they are made with sincerity and humility.
