Perform two extra prostrations after finishing a prayer if one wishes to do so

This hadith is about the Prophet leading a prayer with five rak’ahs. After he said the taslim at the end of his prayer, he prostrated twice while still sitting. This shows us that it is permissible to perform two extra prostrations after finishing a prayer if one wishes to do so. It also teaches us that we should be humble in our prayers and not be too proud or boastful about our deeds.
