Follow Allah's commands with sincerity and devotion

This hadith explains the importance of remaining silent during prayer. It is narrated by Zaid bin Arqam that before the revelation of a verse in the Quran, people used to speak to each other during their prayers as long as it was necessary. However, after this verse was revealed, they were commanded to be silent and guard strictly their five obligatory prayers especially the middle Salah or 'Asr prayer. This hadith emphasizes on obedience and respect for Allah's commands and shows how important it is for Muslims to follow them even if they don't understand why at first. It also teaches us that we should not take our religious duties lightly but rather strive to perform them with utmost sincerity and devotion.
