Tasbih for Men, Clapping for Women

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that men should say tasbih and women should clap.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'The tasbih is for men and clapping is for women'."
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ التَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that men should say tasbih, which is a form of glorifying Allah by repeating phrases such as "Subhanallah" or "Alhamdulillah". On the other hand, women were instructed to clap instead of saying tasbih. This hadith teaches us the importance of following the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and respecting his instructions. It also shows us how different genders can express their love and devotion to Allah in different ways.
