Sunan an-Nasai 1196 (Book 13, Hadith 18) #15804
Avoiding Distractions During Prayer

SUMMARY: The hadith is about not looking around during prayer as it can be a distraction from the prayer and something that Satan takes away from one's prayer.

It was narrated that 'Aishah, may Allah (SWT) be pleased with her, said: "I asked the Messenger of Allah about looking here and there during prayer. He said: 'That is something that the Shaitan snatches from one's prayer'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Pay attention to your prayers , Focus on what you're saying and doing while praying .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that when we are praying, we should focus on our prayers and avoid any distractions such as looking around or thinking of other things. The Prophet Muhammad warned us that if we do not pay attention to our prayers, then the devil will take away our prayers from us. This means that if we are distracted during prayer, then it will not be accepted by Allah and will have no benefit for us in this life or the hereafter. We should strive to make sure that when we pray, we are focused on what we are saying and doing so that our prayers can be accepted by Allah.
