Greeting Others with Simplicity

SUMMARY: It is sufficient to greet others with a simple gesture and saying "As-salamu 'alaikum, as-salamu 'alaikum" instead of using exaggerated gestures.

It was narrated that Jabir bin Samurah said: "We used to pray behind the Messenger of Allah and we would greet (others) with our hands. He said: 'What is the matter with those who greet (others) with their hands as if they were tails of wild horses? It is sufficient for any one of you to put his hand on his thigh and say: "As-salamu 'alaikum, as-salamu 'alaikum".

QUICK LESSONS:
Greet people with simplicity by putting your hand on your thigh and saying “As-salamu 'alaikum”
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us the importance of greeting others in a simple manner. He said that it is not necessary to use exaggerated hand gestures when greeting someone, but rather it is enough to simply put your hand on your thigh and say “As-salamu 'alaikum, as-salamu 'alaikum”. This hadith teaches us the importance of simplicity in our actions and words. We should strive to be humble and modest in all aspects of our lives, including how we greet others. By doing so, we can show respect for ourselves and those around us while also demonstrating our faith in Allah SWT.
