QUICK LESSONS:
Perform Salat with respect and modesty by wearing loose-fitting garments which do not reveal too much skin.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the etiquette of clothing and prostration. It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah said, "I have been commanded to prostrate on seven and not to tuck up my hair or garment". This means that when performing salat, one should not tuck up their hair or clothing in order to keep it out of the way. Doing so would be disrespectful towards Allah as it shows a lack of reverence for Him. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us about proper clothing etiquette when performing salat; one should dress modestly with loose-fitting garments that do not reveal too much skin. By following these guidelines, we can show our respect for Allah while also maintaining a sense of modesty in our attire.
