QUICK LESSONS:
Keep arms away from the ground and close to body during prostration; Keep head and back straight during prostration; Follow instructions for prayer etiquette
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us the proper way to perform our prayers, including how to prostrate. He said that we should not rest our forearms on the ground like a dog when prostrating. This means that we should keep our arms away from the ground and keep them close to our body while prostrating. We must also remember to keep our head and back straight during prostration, as this is an important part of prayer etiquette according to Islamic teachings. It is important for us as Muslims to follow these instructions so that we can properly show respect and humility towards Allah ï·» when praying.
