Praising Allah After Bowing

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ praised Allah after bowing.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "When the Prophet raised his head from bowing, he said: 'Allahumma Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (O Allah, our Lord and to You be the praise)'."
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of praising Allah after bowing in prayer. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that when the Prophet raised his head from bowing, he said “Allahumma Rabbana wa lakal-hamd” which translates to “O Allah, our Lord and to You be the praise”. This shows us how important it is to thank and praise God for all His blessings and mercies upon us. We should always remember to thank Him for everything He has done for us, even if it is something as small as a prayer or a bow of gratitude. By doing this we are showing our appreciation and love for Him, which will bring us closer to Him in return.
