Raising Hands During Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ raised his hands when bowing and raising his head from bowing until they were in line with the highest part of his ears.

It was narrated from Malik bin Al-Huwairith that: He saw the Prophet raise his hands when he bowed, and when he raised his head from bowing, until they were in level with the highest part of his ears.
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ زُرَيْعٍ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا رَكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ بِهِمَا فُرُوعَ أُذُنَيْهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us about the importance of prayer and how to perform it correctly. It is narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would raise his hands when he bowed and when he raised his head from bowing, until they were in line with the highest part of his ears. This shows us that we should take our prayer seriously and make sure to do it properly, as this was an example set by our beloved Prophet Muhammad. We should also remember to raise our hands during prayer, as this is a sign of humility before Allah Almighty.
