QUICK LESSONS:

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the importance of humility and submission to Allah when praying. It was narrated by Ali bin Abi Talib, a companion of the Prophet Muhammad, that when he bowed in prayer he would say “Allahumma laka rak'atu was laka aslamtu wa bika amantu, khasha'a laka sam'i wa basri wa 'izami wa mukhi wa 'asabi” which translates to “O Allah, to You I have bowed and to You I have submitted and in You I have believed. My hearing, sight, bones, brain and sinews are humbled before You”. This shows us that we should humble ourselves before God when we pray as it is an act of worship that requires us to be sincere and devoted. We must remember that our prayers are not just words but rather a way for us to connect with our Creator on a deeper level. We must also remember that all power belongs only to Him so we should always strive for humility when approaching Him in prayer or any other situation.
