QUICK LESSONS:
Abstain from certain activities such as wearing gold rings or Al Qassai clothing; do not dye clothes with safflower dye; do not recite Quran while bowing in prayer .
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad taught his followers to abstain from certain activities and behaviors. One of these was to not wear gold rings, as it was seen as a sign of vanity and pride. He also prohibited wearing Al Qassi clothing which is a type of fabric made from silk or cotton that is often decorated with intricate designs. Additionally, he forbade dyeing clothes with safflower dye as it was seen as an act of extravagance. Lastly, he prohibited reciting the Quran while bowing in prayer because it distracted one's focus away from Allah and onto themselves instead. These teachings emphasize humility and piety in order to maintain a strong connection with Allah through prayer and worship.
