QUICK LESSONS:
Respect religion by avoiding practices such as wearing gold rings or dyeing clothes with safflowers .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the practices that are forbidden in Islam. It was narrated by Ali that the Prophet forbade him from wearing gold rings, reciting the Qur'an while bowing, wearing Al-Qassi and clothes dyed with safflower. Wearing gold rings is considered a sign of pride and arrogance which goes against Islamic teachings. Similarly, reciting the Qur'an while bowing is also not allowed as it distracts one from focusing on prayer. Wearing Al-Qassi was a type of clothing worn by nonbelievers at that time so it was forbidden for Muslims to wear them as well. Lastly, dyeing clothes with safflower was also prohibited as it was used to show off wealth and status which goes against Islamic values of humility and modesty.
