Praising Abu Musa's Recitation

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) praised Abu Musa for his recitation of the family of Dawud's mizmar.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah heard the recitation of Abu Musa and said: 'This man has been given a Mizmar among the Mazamir of the family of Dawud, peace be upon him'."
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ سَمِعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قِرَاءَةَ أَبِي مُوسَى فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ لَقَدْ أُوتِيَ هَذَا مِزْمَارًا مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad praising Abu Musa for his recitation of a mizmar from the family of Dawud. A mizmar is a type of musical instrument and it was used to praise Allah in ancient times. The Prophet Muhammad was so impressed with Abu Musa’s recitation that he said it was like one of the mazamirs from the family of Dawud, which were also used to praise Allah in ancient times. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive to do our best when praising Allah and that we should be humble and thankful for any blessings or talents we have been given by Him.
