Sunan an-Nasai 919 (Book 11, Hadith 44) #15527
Reciting During Prayer

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) asking a man if he was reciting with him during prayer and how the people stopped reciting in prayers when they heard this.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah: "The Messenger of Allah finished a prayer in which he recited out loud, then he said: 'Did any one of you recite with me just now?' A man said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah'. He said: 'I was wondering what was distracting me in reciting Quran'." So the people stopped reciting in prayers in which the Messenger of Allah recited out loud when they heard that.

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect those around you while praying; Stay focused on your own prayers; Avoid any distractions that may take away from its spiritual value; Engage in activities or conversations that could disrupt their concentration or peace of mind

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of focusing on prayer and avoiding distractions. It was narrated by Abu Huraira that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) asked a man if he was reciting with him during prayer, to which he replied yes. The Prophet then said that he felt something distracting him while reciting Quran, so after hearing this, people stopped reciting in prayers where the Prophet would recite out loud. This teaches us to be mindful of our actions and words during prayer as it can be distracting for others who are trying to focus on their own worship. We should also strive to stay focused on our own prayers and avoid any distractions that may take away from its spiritual value. Additionally, we should respect those around us who are praying by not engaging in activities or conversations that could disrupt their concentration or peace of mind.
