QUICK LESSONS:
Follow the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) while praying .
EXPLANATIONS:
According to this hadith narrated by Abu Ubaidah and Abdullah, it is better for a person who is praying to shift their weight from one foot to the other. This practice has been prescribed as part of the sunnah or tradition of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is important for Muslims to follow this sunnah in order to gain maximum benefit from their prayer. By shifting their weight during prayer, Muslims can ensure that they are not standing in an uncomfortable position for too long which can lead them into distraction or lack of concentration during prayer. Furthermore, shifting one's weight also helps in keeping a person alert and focused on what they are saying during prayer which will help them gain more reward from Allah SWT.
