EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith highlights the importance of praying in congregation. It was narrated by Mihjan that he was in a gathering with the Messenger of Allah when Adhan was called for prayer. The Messenger of Allah got up to pray and when he came back, Mihjan was still sitting there. The Prophet asked him why he did not pray and Mihjan replied that he had already prayed with his family. To this, the Prophet said that whenever one comes to a place where people are praying they should join them even if they have already prayed before. This teaches us that it is important to pray in congregation as it brings more blessings from Allah and strengthens our faith as Muslims.
