Respect sacred places, Follow proper etiquette when visiting holy sites

This hadith discusses the etiquette of touching the Ka’bah. Abu Ash-Sha'tha asked who keeps away from some portion of the Ka’bah. Mu’awiya used to touch all four corners while Ibn ‘Abbas told him that two corners should not be touched. Mu’awiya disagreed with this opinion and said nothing is untouchable in the Ka’bah. On the other hand, Ibn Az-Zubair used to touch all four corners of it. This hadith teaches us that we should respect sacred places like mosques and holy sites by following proper etiquette when visiting them. We should also be mindful when interacting with such places as they are considered sacred by many people around us and we must show respect for their beliefs even if we do not share them ourselves.
