The Benefits of Praying in Congregation

SUMMARY: Praying in congregation is better than praying alone.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: "Praying in congregation is twenty-five portions better than one of you praying alone".

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray in congregation.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ teaches us that praying in congregation is more rewarding than praying alone. It is said that when one prays with a group of people, the reward for each person increases by 25 times. This means that if you pray with a group of 10 people, then your reward will be 250 times greater than if you were to pray alone! This shows us how important it is to come together and pray as a community. Not only does it bring us closer to Allah but it also brings us closer to each other and strengthens our bond as Muslims.
