EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the importance of prayer in Islam, even when one is travelling. It was narrated that Ibn Umar said that the Messenger of Allah used to pray atop his mount while travelling, facing whatever direction it was facing. One of the narrators, Malik bin Dinar said that Abdullah bin Dinar also used to do likewise. This shows us how important it is for Muslims to maintain their prayers even when they are on a journey or in transit. It teaches us that no matter where we are or what we are doing, prayer should always remain our priority as Muslims and should not be neglected due to any circumstances or situations we may find ourselves in.
