EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that going to the mosque is a good deed that can erase bad deeds. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah who was one of Prophet Muhammad's companions. He said that when a man leaves his house and goes to the mosque, one foot records a good deed and the other erases a bad deed. This means that when we go to the mosque for prayer or any other religious activity, it will be counted as an act of worship and our sins will be forgiven. This hadith encourages us to make use of this opportunity and go regularly for prayers in order to gain rewards from Allah and erase our sins. It also reminds us of how important it is for Muslims to attend their local mosques in order for them to benefit from its spiritual atmosphere and gain rewards from Allah Almighty.
